Events Coordinator
Dionysis Moustis is the Capability Manager of Lavazza for International markets BU, being responsible for coffee capabilities development within the FS distribution network since 2019. Born in Greece, he started his career in the hospitality industry in 2002. In 2003 he decided to study Hotel FnB management and professional bartending, willing to grow inside the hospitality environment. During his studies he had the chance to deep dive into the coffee category, which made him realize that this was the path to follow and eventually become a trainer to also inspire others.
His career started in 2006 as a sales HoReCa representative for coffee. In 2008 he switched to a coffee trainer position and never looked back… Through various training roles, he held both local and international positions, achieving companies’ milestones along with personal accomplishments.
He is an active member of Speciality Coffee Association since 2009, a Coffee Diploma owner and a SCA Authorised Trainer since 2013. From 2012 until 2017 he has been taking part in Barista coffee competitions, achieving several runner up champion positions with the highlight being the 2nd place in the World Coffee championship in Cezve-Ibrik category back in 2017, in Budapest.
